  1. Whats the difference between the LT and LTX models?
A. The LTX models come with an on-board ignitor and Bosch ignition coils.

2. How can i interface with my LT ecu?
A. You can interface three different ways: 1. Keypad 2. Laptop 3. Dash unit.

3. What operating system is supported for the Laptop software?
A. Windows 95-XP. Mac is not supported at this time.

4. Is a wiring diagram included for my car?
A. Yes, a wiring diagram is included showing basic installation for most popular applications. Please check the Wiring Diagams page for more info.

5. Will the LT ecu handle High and Low impedence injectors?
A. Yes, the LT ecu can handle High and Low impedence injectors. (1) 1ohm low imped per injector driver only.

6. Can i configure a LT ecu to handle other outputs other than specified?
A. Yes, an ecu's unused drivers can be reconfigured at time of order.

7. Is the Mazda 20B 3-rotor engine supported?
A. Yes! the Mazda 20B 3-rotor engine uses the LT12 series.

8. What Plug-in harnesses are availible?
A. Currently the 93-95 Mazda RX-7 (13bREW), Nissan 180SX (CA18DET), Nissan Skyline R32 (RB20DET), Nissan Skyline R33 (RB25DET). Honda/Acura harnesses coming soon!

9. Will the LT ecu control my cars OEM twin sequential turbo configurations?
A. No, disabling the sequential operation is required so both turbos run parallel. Single turbo operation is another option.

10. Can i remove my restrictive Mass Air Flow Sensor when i install an LT ecu?
A. Yes! as the LT ecu converts your car to Speed Density (MAP based) removal of your restrictive MAF sensor is recommeded.

11. I have a J-spec engine that is not availible in the U.S. do you have a ecu for me?
A. Most likely Yes! as our ecus are used around the world and Microtech is always updating there configuration list. Please inquire or check out our Application List page.
